BCB’s Community Day, held from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., included an array of activities, including free food and drinks, a bounce house out front, a live DJ and a dance and fashion show performed by the Tigerettes. After the dance and fashion shows, those interested in learning more about Poise Search Fashion and Modeling Company, a self-betterment program at Building Community Bridges, were able to attend the company’s open house and meet founder Khiara Brown. At 3 p.m., a raffle drawing was held for three free adult passes to the program.
